Wow I guess it came time to update my journal here. Considering the last update was the end of May last year I guess I am a little late. I have been very busy working sadly but have had a few great photo adventures. The holidays were great but busy as always. Christmas just never feels quite right when you are in the middle of the desert. But nonetheless it was a fun time.



I was lucky to finally update to new camera gear which I am still trying to learn. I went Nikon....Yeah I know all you Canon fans can save throwing the food at me. I must admit I just might go with Canon next time. But it sure is good having solid gear finally and once I master it than I hope the quality of my work will improve.

Recently the Phoenix valley hosted the Super Bowl which would have been some good photo opportunities. Sadly I have been down with a recent knee surgery and still recovering. The doctor says I should be good this time around and back to normal here soon. I have had a few moments to take some new capture and hope as always ever image I shoot gets better.



I look very forward to getting out this year and making good use of my camera. I have a trip planned for Illinois coming up the end of March and already have my eye on booking a Southern Illinois trip for the fall. I also plan to visit northern Arizona and Utah and maybe some more of the western states. I also plan on doing some shoots over the border in Mexico as well. Any rate hopefully I will provide some fun images and continue to make good friends who have been nothing but supportive in my quest to learn how to be a good photographer.
